Neighborhood Planning Unit B

The Neighborhood Planning Unit (NPU) system offers local residents a voice in matters concerning our neighborhood and our city. There are NPUs set up for the entire city by the Atlanta City Council. The NPU system provides the City with a vehicle of communication to its residents.

City Officials from all branches: Police, Marta Police, Atlanta Fire Dept., Parks, Buckhead CID, Livable Buckhead, City Planning and Code Enforcement all make regular reports to the NPUs. Topics range from zoning issues, licensing reviews, and development and transportation. The NPUs then make recommendations to the city which are influential but not necessarily binding.
